The exhibition features rare vintage artwork, books, 1940s Hollywood movie serials and colorful interactive displays such as a vintage Batmobile™, a newsstand, and costume stations that allow children to dress up as their favorite superhero or use a phone booth for a lightning-fast costume change. See never before exhibited art and objects that explore the transformation of comic book icons such as Superman, Batman, Captain Marvel, and Wonder Woman.
For Metro patrons to receive their discounts, simply show a valid Metro pass, Metro Rail ticket or Destination Discount card at the window, mention exhibition code 99572 and get $3 off the $10 general, $7 senior, or $5 kids admission prices. There is a limit of two tickets per rider.
The Skirball is located at 2701 N. Sepulveda Boulevard, in the Sepulveda Pass along the route of Metro Rapid Line 761. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday to Sunday. For more information on the exhibit visit www.skirball.org or call 310.440.4500.
