MTA To Reroute Several Bus Lines Serving Colorado Boulevard In Pasadena During Street Construction Work

MTA will reroute several bus lines in the City of Pasadena beginning Thursday, March 8 due to street construction work along Colorado Boulevard for the Pasadena Metro Blue Line.

Construction work along Colorado Boulevard between St. John Avenue and Garfield Avenue is expected to take up to 10 weeks to complete.

During that period, traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction along Colorado Boulevard and all bus lines serving the area will be detoured.

Eastbound service on MTA lines 180/181 will be rerouted from Colorado Boulevard to Green Street between St. John Avenue and Marengo Avenue. Westbound service on Colorado Boulevard will be rerouted to Union Street between Garfield Avenue and St. John Avenue.

Eastbound service on MTA line 188 will be rerouted from Colorado Boulevard to Green Street between Fair Oaks Avenue and Marengo Avenue. Westbound service on Colorado Boulevard will be rerouted to Union Street between Garfield Avenue and Fair Oaks Avenue.

Eastbound service on MTA Line 402 will be rerouted from Colorado Boulevard to Green Street between Fair Oaks Avenue and Marengo Avenue. Westbound service will be rerouted to Union Street between Garfield Avenue and Pasadena Avenue.

Pasadena Route Changes

In addition, Line 256, operated by First Transit under contract to MTA, will be rerouted from Colorado Boulevard with eastbound service using Green Street between Fair Oaks Avenue and Marengo Avenue. Westbound service will be rerouted to Union Street between Garfield Avenue and Fair Oaks Avenue.
