The Metro Bus System’s Line 163
Special will provide non-stop service to the Hollywood Bowl from the Metro Red Line Hollywood/Vine subway station throughout the venue’s summer 2002 season.
The Metro Bus System’s Line 163 Special will provide non-stop service to the Hollywood Bowl from the Metro Red Line Hollywood/Vine subway station throughout the venue’s summer 2002 season.
Shuttle buses run about every 20 minutes, starting three hours before scheduled performances. The last pre-show bus leaves the Metro Red Line Hollywood/Vine Station 30 minutes before showtime.
Return trips to the Hollywood/Vine Station start 20 minutes after the show and continue until approximately 11:30 p.m. Metro Red Line trains are scheduled to depart every 20 minutes at night.
The last train to North Hollywood is scheduled to depart at 11:56 p.m. The last train to downtown Los Angeles is scheduled to depart at 12:05 a.m.
Patrons can transfer to the Hollywood Bowl Shuttle free with a round-trip Metro Red Line ticket. They can also board the shuttle using a Metro Pass, transfer, token or by paying the $1.35 cash fare. Returning passengers without a Metro Red Line round-trip ticket or Metro Pass must pay the cash fare and purchase a transfer to continue their trip on other Metro services.
