The downtown march and rally has been scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and will assemble on Broadway Street between 11th Street and Olympic Boulevard. The march will proceed along Broadway Street up First and Temple Street where the rally will take place.
Metro customers are encourage to use the Metro Purple and Metro Red lines to get to the march and rally exiting on Pershing Square and/or Civic Center Metro Rail stations closest to Broadway.
Forty-seven Metro Bus lines in the downtown area will be detoured between 5 a.m. and 6 p.m. when Metro Bus service returns to regular schedules.
Metro bus lines impacted by the detours will include 2, 4, 10, 16, 18, 20, 26, 28, 30, 31, 40, 42, 45, 48, 51, 52, 53, 55, 60, 62, 66, 68, 70, 71, 76, 78, 79, 81, 83, 84, 90, 91, 92, 94, 96, 439, 445, 460, 485, 487, 720, 740, 745, 760, 770, 794, and the Metro Silver Line.
In Westwood on Wilshire Boulevard the May Day rally will take place between Westwood Boulevard and Gayley Avenue, Le Conte Avenue, between Gayley Avenue and Westwood Boulevard and Westwood Boulevard between Wilshire Boulevard and Le Conte Avenue. Metro Bus lines impacted will be 2, 20, 720 and 761 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
