Metro Eco-friendly Apparel Available at Metro Store Online

As part of Metro’s ongoing commitment to improve air quality, mobility and congestion, the Metro online store is introducing environmentally-friendly apparel (www.metro.net/metrostore).

Be a part of Metro’s efforts in getting greener by going Metro and sporting a sage green T-shirt imprinted with “I ride for a greener L.A.” priced at $19.

There is also super soft, stretchable baby knit onesies with poppy orange imprint, lap shoulder neckline for ease of dressing, three snap closure. They are imprinted with “Future Metro Rider” priced at $15. The apparel is certified organic by Skal of Holland, an independent certifying agency approved by the USDA’s National Organic Program.

Not only is the cotton grown, processed and colored with low-impact dyes as per international organic standards, but also the processing provides a complete environmental product.

There are also black and white Metro lanyards priced at $6 that are woven from 100 percent recycled soda and water bottles. The lanyards are made into high quality fabric with a silver-tone split key ring that can be used to display an ID badge or hold keys.

The Metro online store has a variety of other specialty items including baseball caps, beanies, shirts, coffee mugs and umbrellas. Ordering is easy.
