Go Metro to Major L.A. County Sports Centers

Getting to sporting events is easier than you think when you "Go Metro." Scores of sports venues are easily accessible via Metro Buses and trains:

Staples Center (1111 S. Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA)
Home of the L.A. Lakers and Clippers, the Staples Center is the city's largest indoor sports and entertainment venue. Rail: Pico/Chick Hearn Station, Metro Blue Line. Bus: Line 81/381, 439, 442, 444-447 and 460.

Rose Bowl (1001 Rose Bowl Drive, Pasadena, CA)
The Rose Bowl hosts the New Year's Day football game and is home to UCLA football and occasional Super Bowl and World Cup/Olympic soccer games. Rail: Memorial Park Station, Metro Gold Line. Bus: Line 177, Pasadena ARTS Bus #50.

Great Western Forum (3900 West Manchester Boulevard, Inglewood, CA)
The Great Western Forum was once home to Los Angeles Kings ice hockey and Los Angeles Lakers basketball . It now hosts celebrity basketball and special events including concerts. Bus: Lines 115, 211, 212, 315, 442.

Hollywood Park Race Track (1050 South Prairie Avenue, Inglewood, CA)
The Hollywood Park Race Track holds thoroughbred horse racing. Bus: Lines 117, 210, 211, 212, 710.

Dodger Stadium (1000 Elysian Park Ave, Los Angeles, CA)
Home of the L.A. Dodgers for more than 40 years. Bus: Line 2 (Echo Park Avenue stop, walk up hill to stadium).

Santa Anita Park (285 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA)
Santa Anita Park opens annually on December 26, with daily horse racing continuing through late April. Bus : Lines 79, 264, 268, Foothill Transit 184, 187, and 189.

Home Depot Center (18400 Avalon Boulevard, Carson, CA)
The Home Depot Center, home to the L.A. Galaxy major league soccer team, is also an official U.S. Olympic training site and hosts soccer, tennis, track and field, cycling, volleyball, baseball, softball, rugby and other sports. Rail: Artesia Station, Metro Blue Line and Avalon Station, Metro Green Line (then use bus connections). Bus: Lines 52, 127, 130, 205, 352, 446, 447, Torrance Transit 6, Carson Circuit A, E, H.

Grand Olympic Auditorium (1801 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA)
The Grand Olympic Auditorium holds regular boxing and wrestling matches, and other special events. Rail: Grand Station, Metro Blue Line. Bus: Lines 14, 37,38, 55, 65, 68, 71, 76, 78, 79, 434, 439,484, 485, 490, 603, Dash D, F.

Pauley Pavilion, Drake Stadium (UCLA, Los Angeles, CA)
Pauley Pavilion is the home for Bruin basketball, but is also the site for NCAA men's and women's basketball, volleyball and gymnastics championships. Drake Stadium hosts UCLA men's and women's track and field and soccer teams. Bus: Lines 2, 21, 302, 305, 576, 720, 761.

Heritage Hall (3501 Watt Way, Los Angeles, CA)
Heritage Hall, part of the University of Southern California campus, houses the university's athletic department and contains USC athletic trophies. Bus: 37th St St/USC/Expo Park Transitway Station, Lines 38, 40, 42, 45, 46, 81, 381, 745, 754, GA1 and DASH F.

Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Sports Arena (3939 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA)
The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, host to previous Super Bowls, Olympic and World Series games, regularly hosts USC football and international soccer competitions. The Sports Arena hosts USC men's and women's basketball teams. Bus: 37th St St/USC/Expo Park Transitway Station, Lines 38, 40, 42, 45, 46, 81, 381, 745, 754, GA1 and DASH F.
