IRIS offers a new take on the art of cinema as only Cirque du Soleil could imagine it. Directed by acclaimed choreographer Philippe Decouflé, with music by Oscar-nominated composer Danny Elfman, IRIS is an inventive spectacle that combines acrobatics, dance, projections and live music and takes the audience on a mesmerizing journey that blurs boundaries between live performance and moving images.
IRIS performances are Tuesdays to Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. (except Saturday, Dec. 24) and Sundays at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. There are no performances on Monday.
For more information about IRIS from Cirque du Soleil, go to cirquedusoleil.com/IRIS.
Avoid the high price of parking and bumper-to-bumper Hollywood traffic. Take Metro Bus and/or Rail to the Kodak Theatre, just steps from the Metro Red Line Hollywood/Highland Station. To plan a trip visit metro.net and click on the Trip Planner.
