Metro $5 day pass benefits you and your guests
Going places in Los Angeles but traffic is in your way? Let Metro's $5 day pass take you there. The day-long ticket to ride Metro Rail and Metro buses is the perfect choice for visitors or occasional transit users.
The $5 day pass is a one-day fare option now sold on TAP, Metro's reusable plastic fare card.
TAP cards can be purchased at Metro Customer Centers, retail TAP vendors and at all ticket vending machines (TVMs):
- At Metro Customer Centers and approximately 400 Metro pass sales outlets around town including Ace Cash Express, Continental Currency Services Inc., Nix Check Cashing and selected Ralph's California check cashing stores. To find a location near you, go to 'Purchasing Your Tap' tab at taptogo.net
- Online at taptogo.net. Your card will be mailed to you.
- From ticket vending machines, TAP cards are $2 in addition to the $5 fare. TVMs can be found at Metro Rail and Metro Orange Line stations.
- On board Metro buses, $5 day passes are available with a purchase of a TAP card. TAP cards are $1 when purchased on board a Metro bus.
