Go Metro to the American Heroes Air Show and Ride a Helicopter

 If you've ever wanted to take a ride on a helicopter, now's your chance. Head out to the American Heroes Air Show, the nation's premier helicopter-only aviation event, and make sure to go Metro to receive a five percent discount on helicopter rides.

Show your valid Metro pass or Metro Rail ticket at the Adventure Helicopter Tours booth to receive the discount. The American Heroes Air Show takes place on Saturday, June 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hansen Dam Sports Complex in Lake View Terrace. Admission to the event is free.

The American Heroes Air Show provides an exciting, up-close view of helicopters, their crews and their dynamic role in community safety, homeland security and national defense. Helicopters from local, county, state, private media and Federal/Department of Defense agencies will be featured. The unique community event also includes a career fair and extensive fundraising opportunities for many local non-profits and Veteran's support organizations.
