The Watts Village Theater Company in association with Watts/Century Latino Organization and Metro will perform its 2nd Annual Meet Me @ Metro theatrical journey along the Metro Blue Line. It will take place on two weekends in July, running at stations along the Blue Line from Watts to Long Beach and back.
This year the theme is "Traveling Circus." It will be performed by eight talented Los Angeles-based theater groups. Visitors will enjoy unique and inspiring performances, each 5 to 10 minutes long. These performances will include dancing, singing, theater, even puppetry. This is an event the entire family will enjoy.
The 2nd Annual Meet Me @ Metro will take place on July 2 and 3, as well as July 9 and 10, with performances beginning at 11 a.m. Starting point for the event will be The Watts Towers Arts Center at 1727 East 107th St., Los Angeles, 90002. Tickets for July 2 and 9 are $11 while tickets for July 3 and 10 are listed as "pay what you can." The Metro ticket fare is not included in the $11.
