South Bay Metro Green Line Extension

Metro is conducting an environmental review of the South Bay Metro Green Line Extension.

This study will examine options for extending rail service in the South Bay using an existing railroad right-of-way (ROW) known as the "Harbor Subdivision".

Many thanks to everyone who attended the South Bay Metro Green Line Extension Scoping meetings held in April and May 2010!

More than 200 people attended the meetings, and many of you have already provided your input.

We are pleased with the valuable feedback we are receiving.

Metro will continue to engage the public throughout the Draft Environmental Impact Statement/Draft Environmental Impact Report (Draft EIS/EIR) phase.

Look for more information about our community update meetings in the coming months.
