As part of the pre-construction activities for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project, the contractor will conduct a soil stability test near the Getty View Trailhead running along the northbound I-405 freeway between Getty Center Drive and Skirball Center Drive. This work activity is being conducted to survey and monitor the stability of the soil for the future construction of a retaining wall along the I-405 freeway. Night time work for this activity will require freeway lane closures and ramp closures to facilitate the safe use of excavation equipment.
Metro will offer Dodger Stadium Express bus service from Union Station in downtown Los Angeles to Dodger Stadium beginning April 1 with the Dodgers pre-game series and throughout the regular 2010 baseball season under a grant from the Mobile Source Air Pollution Reduction Review Committee (MSRC) grant of $300,000 awarded to Metro by the MSRC was made in support of clean fuel transit service to link Union Station to Dodger Stadium. The MSRC awards funding within the South Coast Air Basin from a portion of the vehicle registration fee set aside for mobile source projects that result in emission reductions.

Street closures start, Monday, March 1, in the Hollywood area due to preparations for the Academy Awards show that will be held in the Kodak Theatre at the Hollywood Highland complex on Sunday, March 7. Metro Bus Lines 212, 312, 217, 222 and 780 will be detoured through Monday March 8. Normal service should resume by 6 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9.
