Go Metro for Creative Holiday Shopping

The perfect holiday gift this year just might be edible. For years, it has been a holiday tradition to stand in line at Tamales Lilianas in East L.A. -- waiting for a bag of soft and delicious tamales stuffed with pork, chicken, chilies and cheese or raisins and pineapple. Getting there now is easy on the new Edward R. Roybal Metro Gold Line Eastside Extension. Just hop off at Indiana Station and walk a block east on 1st Street. You'll probably have to wait in line. But the wait will be worth it.
