Go Metro To Rock the Count: American Indian Music Festival Saturday, March 27

Monday March 15, 2010

Go Metro to the Rock the Count: American Indian Music Festival celebration on Saturday, March 27 at the Los Angeles State Historic Park. The park is located at 1243 N. Spring St. -- a short walk from the Metro Gold Line Chinatown Station.

From noon to 5p.m. there will be arts, crafts, food, vendors and free entertainment and performances by American Indian and Alaska Natives. Sponsored by the U.S. Census Bureau, the event also is a reminder to make sure everyone is counted during the 2010 U.S. Census.  Numbers generated by the census play a key role in the funding Metro receives for transit purposes.

Go Metro and be one of the first 100 riders to show a valid Metro pass, Metro Rail ticket or Destination Discounts card to the Census Booth located at the entrance to the event and receive a free personal planner made of leather.
