Metro’s Weekly Pass is now a flexible 7-Day Pass, good for 7 consecutive days starting the first day it is used, rather than for a specific calendar week.
Similarly, Metro’s Monthly Pass is now a 30-Day Pass, good for 30 consecutive days starting the first day it is used, rather than for a specific calendar month.
That means you can buy your Metro pass on

Avoid waiting in the end-of-month lines at pass sales outlets.

Purchase your pass any day of the week or month without waiting for an “on-sale” date.

Choose when your pass starts – the 7-day or 30-day time period begins the first day you tap.
7-Day and 30-Day Passes are available online at
taptogo.net, Metro Customer Centers, more than 400 pass sales outlets and Metro ticket vending machines.
Note: If you bought an August Monthly Pass, it will be good through August 31 as usual. Calendar-specific Monthly and Weekly Passes will no longer be sold after August 8.
