Photographic Lightbox Program
Initiated in 2001, the Metro Art Lightbox Program provides photography exhibits that engage a broad range of Metro riders on their daily commute. Each Lightbox series is comprised of seven photographic transparencies, each measuring 3 ft. x 4 ft. and sequentially arranged on internally illuminated boxes.
Artwork is rotated throughout the year and is currently on display in the mezzanine levels of the following Metro Red and Purple Line Stations:
- Hollywood/Highland
- 7th Street/Metro Center
- Wilshire/Normandie
- Vermont/Beverly
- Universal City
