Transit Education Programs’ main goal is to give informative safety programs to the community. The presentation can range from fifteen minutes to one hour, depending on your needs. Vivid site-specific presentations are offered in a classroom setting, using photos and videos from communities along the Metro Rail and Bus Corridors.
Our secondary goal is to assist grades 1-12 students, to ride the trains safely. This is done through safety orientation tours. Tours are conducted Monday – Friday from 8am until 3 pm and include a day pass to explore the Metro system.

Metro’s Transit Education Team is excited to offer the Metro Student Field Trip Program to LA County Schools, grades 1-12. The program provides students, faculty and chaperones access to 18 approved destinations on Metro bus and/or rail service.
