Records Services
Records Management Center services include capturing correspondence, off-site storage and disposition of inactive records; capturing and indexing of significant Metro records; maintenance of the records retention schedule; retrieving documents for staff, litigation/legal, and the public (i.e. public records requests ); and training staff of effective management of their files.

Records Management Form
This form is used for Public Records Requests pursuant to the California Public Records Act, Govt. Code Section 6250. Requests for public records may be submitted on this form, in person, by letter, e-mail and fax. Please read instructions for more information.
Instructions For Requesting Public Records
The form found here must be used to submit online records requests to Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) Records Management Center. Your request must reasonably describe identifiable records prepared, owned or retained by MTA.
