Ride Matching and Average Vehicle Ridership (AVR) Services

Metro Commute Services can assist with employee ridematching and help you identify effective commute management strategies to meet your AVR, survey and trip reduction goals.

Survey Processing and Output Reports

Metro Commute Services will process your surveys and calculate results. You’ll receive:

  • RideGuide’s for your employees
  • Density Map
  • AVR Report

RideGuide Ridematching

Metro has a state-of-the-art ridematching system with a database of more than 285,000 registrants as of January 2011. You can easily Conduct a commuter survey and receive RideGuides for your company, which provide employees with a personalized list of potential carpool and vanpool partners, transit referrals and other commute information. Once you survey and are registered you will have access to your employee rideshare data.

Metro also offers ridematching for individual commuters either via the Internet, or by calling 511 and say "Los Angeles County Rideshare."

Density Map

A Density Map is generated based on your employee survey data. It is a useful tool to increase ridesharing at your work site. The map gives you a fast, visual snapshot of where your employees live so you can determine carpool, vanpool and transit opportunities.

AVR Report

Metro Provides a CD with the AVR Report to employers who have Metro process their AVR.
