Overview
The BOS is one of four subcommittees of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC).
Function
"Under the authority of Metro hereinafter called Metro, the Bus Operations Subcommittee, also referred to as BOS, shall be consulted on issues and will provide technical input/assistance to Metro by reviewing and evaluating the various transportation policies, operating issues, and transportation financing programs in Los Angeles County. The BOS shall review, comment upon and make recommendations on such matters as referred to it by Metro.
In the dispatch of its responsibilities, the Bus Operations Subcommittee may conduct meetings, may appoint committees or working groups, and engage in such related activities, as it deems necessary."
BOS Membership
Currently the BOS is composed of 17 voting members.
Monthly Meetings
The BOS meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the Metro Headquarters Building, One Gateway Plaza, Los Angeles, CA 90012-2952.
