KEN GONZALES-DAY is a Professor of Art at Scripps College. He received his B.F.A. from Pratt Institute and his M.F.A. from the University of California, Irvine. His work has been exhibited widely throughout Europe and the Americas and can be found in the collections of the Art Gallery of New South Wales (Australia), Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Eileen Norton Collection, Williamson Art Gallery, Pomona College Museum of Art and the Los Angeles Center for Photographic Studies. Gonzales-Day has completed a public art commission for the County of Los Angeles; fellowships at the Getty Research Institute, Smithsonian, Rockefeller Foundation and the Whitney Museum of American Art Independent Study Program; and received numerous awards in recognition of his work.
